Please pray for the country of Haiti after the recent destructive earthquake there. BMM has a number of established churches in that country, and BI is working on translating the Old Testament into Creole. We have heard that Pr Maxime Pierre-Pierre, a Haitian pastor who has a key role in the Creole translation project, is safe along with his home and family. BMM's only missionary couple in Haiti, the Shelpmans, are unharmed but their home was destroyed. Please pray for our translator, Daniel Telfort, as we do not yet know of his welfare. Pray also for the welfare of other contacts of BMM and BI, and pray for witnessing opportunities as a result of this disaster.
